Spider 939 Roof Repairs

The Alfa Romeo 939 cabriolet is very pleasing on the eye with its fabric folding roof and Italian heritage. Alfa Romeo owners are passionate about driving and their fabulous cabriolets and are keen to maintain and keep these eye catching iconic vehicles on the road with the convertible roof in full working order.

Alfa Romeo have left owners a little stranded, discontinuing the supply of convertible roof components such as the Roof Ecu and Hydraulic Pump. These parts are no longer in production, leaving very little option to the owners of these great vehicles.

At Cayman Autos we are able to provide reliable refurbished hydraulic pumps supplied and fitted on an exchange basis. The Alfa Romeo roof Ecu’s are a little less available, however in some cases we have success with a repair to the roof Ecu, restoring the hood’s full function.

Like all soft top cabriolets they have their faults and in particular, lack of attention to care and maintenance can lead to water ingress and the usual electrical and mechanical faults caused by water damage on the operational roof system.
