BMW Mini Roof Repairs

BMW raised the profile of the mini brand in 2001 and it took 3 years to add a convertible to the range – the BMW R52 Cabriolet. A compact cabriolet, albeit a tight squeeze, can accommodate 4 passengers to enjoy open top driving. The 2nd generation R57 came to market in 2009 and the 3rd generation in 2016, growing in every dimension without losing its Mini charm.

Across the Mini soft-top range, if you just want to open the small portion over the front seats, it can slide back 40cm, automatically, at any speed.

Why is just the sunroof section opening?

The Mini convertible has two sections to the roof: a sunroof and the convertible roof. If your sunroof is working, but the convertible roof isn’t, it’s probably a wiring issue. We can examine it and get everything moving again.
