TT Roadster Roof Repairs

The Audi TT Roadster cabriolet was introduced to the convertible market in 1999; a Bauhaus-inspired machine – an aspirational piece of automotive sculpture.

The single skinned fabric convertible roof is built to an impeccable standard resisting wind noise admirably. The cabriolet has an electrically operated glass wind deflector that slides up between the seats, protecting the occupants from buffeting when the roof is down.

Along came the Audi Roadster cabriolet MK2, with excellent body control, grip and low-slung sporty driving position, facelifted again in 2014 with the MK3 Roadster, currently looking extremely stylish and sitting very well in the two seater convertible category.

Like all soft top cabriolets they have their faults and in particular, lack of attention to care and maintenance can lead to water ingress and the usual electrical and mechanical faults caused by water damage on the operational roof system.
