911 Cabriolet Roof Repairs
The Porsche 911 Cabriolet is legendary, whilst some 911 purists would not choose an open-topped version, the idea of limitless headroom to some proves extremely appealing.
The fabric folding roof system is refined and well insulated, and looks as good with the convertible roof up as it is down. Porsche have not subscribed to the trend for folding hard tops and the fabric roof incorporates a lightweight magnesium frame, which can be raised and lowered at speeds of less than 31 mph in just 12 seconds.
Keeping your Porsche 911 roof system in top working order is essential and we recommend an annual roof service to keep the convertible roof system well lubricated and free of squeaks.
Like all soft top cabriolets they have their faults and in particular, lack of attention to care and maintenance can lead to water ingress and the usual electrical and mechanical faults caused by water damage on the operational roof system.
