C-Class W205 Roof Repairs
The Mercedes C Class cabriolet is a smartly styled convertible with a multi layered fabric roof that can activate in less than 20 seconds at speeds of up to 30mph.
The fully automatic fabric soft top can be opened and closed using a matt chrome curved switch on the centre console. After opening, it folds down quietly and is stored in the soft-top compartment in the boot.
The Mercedes C Class Convertible has the option extra luxury of the Aircap for the rear passengers comfort and also Airscarf, which gently blows nice warm air onto your neck to make going topless in the winter more bearable.
Like all soft top cabriolets they have their faults and in particular, lack of attention to care and maintenance can lead to water ingress and the usual electrical and mechanical faults caused by water damage on the operational roof system.
